01 / THE REASON

A generator is only part
of your power plan.
Its fuel matters, too.

Stored diesel can collect water and particles. Over time, contamination can clog filters and affect sensitive fuel system components.

Routine filtration helps you manage what’s in the tank between generator runs and before the next demand for power.

Why fuel polishing matters
01

Particles

Help keep dirt and sediment from reaching your generator’s filters.

02

Water

Reduce water related corrosion and conditions that support microbial growth.

03

Fine contamination

Help protect sensitive pumps and injectors from abrasive wear.

Resources & all FAQs
Do I need to know which model I want?+

No. Tell Jorge what you know about your generator and fuel tank, and bring your questions. Tank size, fuel condition, operating duty, and installation details all help determine a suitable system.

How does AFFS help with installation?+

AFFS guides you from system selection through installation. We supply the equipment, connect you with a local installation vendor, and stay involved to help coordinate the next steps and answer equipment questions. The local vendor performs the installation.

Can I inquire from outside the United States?+

Yes. AFFS sells systems worldwide. Include your country and project location so Jorge can discuss the equipment configuration and local installation arrangements with you.

Does filtration replace generator or tank maintenance?+

Fuel filtration is one part of your maintenance program. Keep following the generator and fuel system manufacturers’ guidance for inspections, fuel sampling, servicing, and tank cleaning when needed. Filtration cannot restore fuel that has chemically degraded.
